Rejuvenating facial serum with 0.1% retinol. Retinol (vitamin A) is considered one of the most powerful anti-ageing ingredients, which, in addition to its wrinkle-smoothing effect, also addresses other skin concerns such as acne, dead skin cells, uneven skin texture, etc. Retinol accelerates skin regeneration and stimulates collagen synthesis. If you’ve noticed that your skin is no longer as firm, you have developed expression lines, you see “pillow creases” in the morning, your makeup doesn’t sit well, or you struggle with acne, then retinol is what helps!
In addition to retinol, the serum contains Hexapeptide-61 Dimer, a peptide that boosts the skin’s own ability to synthesise collagen and has a gentle exfoliating effect. The formula also includes 5% niacinamide, which evens out skin tone and combats pigmentation spots, as well as other anti-wrinkle, moisturising and soothing ingredients. If you have never used retinol before, start with the 0.1% serum and later you can move on to the 0.3% face cream to minimise the risk of irritation.
Usage: If you are a beginner with retinol, use the serum 2 times a week for the first 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, you can use it every other day. Pump 3–4 times and apply the serum to the face, then follow with a moisturising cream.
NB! Retinol may cause redness or irritation if your skin is not yet used to it. This is normal. After using retinol, avoid sunbathing and always use sunscreen. Do not use exfoliating products during a retinol course. Keep the skin well moisturised. If the skin becomes red and itchy, allow it to calm down and resume use only after the itching has subsided. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
